Halloween!!!!

In recent years I have always had my Halloween costume picked out at least a month in advance in order to secure proper attire, props, etc for the special occasion. I was starting to get nervous this year because I had no idea what I was going to be. My junior year of college I was Christina Aguilera a la her 'Dirrty' video, complete with the hat, black streaked hair (I know, can you believe I actually put PRODUCT in my hair??!!), the short skirt, the come-fuck-me boots, the works. It was hott. Then last year I was a Catholic School Girl. Unfortunately I ended up looking a lot like Britney Spears (before she went stupid and skanky), from her 'Baby, One More Time" video. But anyway, this year I have decided I will be....

...Regina George.

If you don't know who this character is, you are missing out on one of the greatest movies ever. "Mean Girls" is honestly one of my favorite movies of all time, I absolutely love it and Regina is awesome. At first I wasn't sure how I was going to present myself as her, and Drake put it bluntly when he said, "What, so you're just going to get out of bed?" in reference to my stunning personality which often mirrors Regina's. But alas, I have decided I will best be able to pull this off my finding a neck brace of some sort and wearing that in addition to the pink dress she wore in one of the final scenes. Now I know some of you might offer, but no thanks, I don't really need you to hit me with a bus. I don't think a neck brace will be too hard to find, and it will amuse me for the next month and a half, so I am excited I finally decided what I am going to be. None of this would have started so early had Drake not found his costume a week ago - he's going to be a Viking. He thought I should be a Viking wench so I can get his beer and carry a turkey leg around for him all night, but I declined the offer. I just have to find a really good blond wig because there is no way I am dying my hair, for two reasons:

1. My hair is gorgeous

2. Do you know how ridiculously long my hair is, thus do you know how many boxes of dye I would actually have to purchase?

I'm sure I can find a good wig somewhere, so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I don't want the crappy Wal-Mart kind. That was my initial thought when I went as Christina, but you could see the netting where the wig was glued on and it looked lame and ratty and gross, so that's why we streaked my hair instead with the wash-out dye.

Anyway, that's enough for now, I am going to try to find a dress at least similar to what Regina wore, and hopefully not too expensive. With Fall Formals and Homecoming and things like that coming up, I'm sure some stores will have some sales so wish me luck :)
